My brother owns Sawblade Furniture and is offering some custom made Garden/Flower boxes made from 2x12 Cedar. Most gardeners agree that raised beds are easier to maintain and promote better plant growth. And with cedar being a natural wood you don't need to worry about leaching chemicals into your soil like you would with railroad ties or treated lumber. Cedar is naturally resistant to rot, insects and withstands well to harsh weather.
These boxes also make great sand boxes for the kids. They offer many sizes and custom make just about any size needed. Call for prices for custom orders. Any orders of 20 or more boxes ( don't have to be all the same size) will get a 10% discount. call 208-219-5184

Silent Auction
I donated a landscape design for the silent action at the CCW Fashion Show. Here is a pic of the basket they made up to put my certificate in. It turned out pretty cute.
Center Peices for St. Mark's CCW Fashion Show
The CCW put on their annual fashion show fundrasier. I decieded to volunteer my time on the commity and help with center pieces and stage design. These are the center pieces I came up with for the fashion show. Blossom Boutique did the flowers. The containers are just plastic milk jugs covered with baby clothes.

New sewing project
I found a pattern on for a boppy cover at http://www.vanillajoy.com/ So I decided to try it out, I cheated though and used velcro instead of a zipper. Maybe I will get adventerous and and put a zipper on the next one I do. The baby will be here in just a few short days, so I am wrapping up all the lose ends. Check out vanilla joy, she has some really cool do it yourself stuff.
Some good stuff from my garden
Here are some pics of a few of the good things I was able to get from our garden this year. We didn't get much corn cause various wind storms knocked the stalks over. I'm still getting cucumbers, potatos, beans, and carrots. I have a few watermelons growing, hopefully the good weather will last long enough to get a few.
